Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Philadelphia Area

There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5 a.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday, for counties north and west of Philadelphia. Please use caution while driving due to freezing rain, sleet and snow.  Any untreated surfaces may be hazardous for travel.

WATCH LIVE: ULTIMATE DOPPLER RADAR 

The snow and sleet accumulations will be less than an 1 inch and some parts may see up to one tenth of an inch of ice.

Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility. Use extra caution if driving.

A light wintry mix will continue for the remainder of the day. Accumulating snow is likely north and west of Philadelphia with the highest amounts in the Poconos. .

Watch for icy roadways and sidewalks through early Tuesday morning. From there, we dry out with a chance of snow showers next on Thursday. Very cold temperatures return for late week into the weekend.
