'Light The Night' cancer charity walk held in Philly

- An estimated one million people across the United States and Canada participate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night” walks, including those in Philadelphia on Saturday night.

Folks gathered to show support for those suffering from blood cancers outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art, including familiar faces at FOX 29.

A strong showing of community members carrying illuminated balloons of various colors (white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer) filled the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The charity event aims to raise money to fund research to find blood cancer cures.
