- SeaWorld Orlando announced on Monday that its Mako attraction, soon to be Orlando’s longest, fastest and tallest roller coaster, will open on June 10.

The 12,500-pound final piece of track was lifted into place and topped with a waving American flag earlier this month.  Mako features a nearly one-mile-long track that will top 200 feet high and reach speeds of 73 mph.   Mako will have 3 coaster trains with 7 cars per train and each train will carry 28 riders. Each coaster train weighs 21,418 pounds.  Video is courtesy of Daniel Leavelle / Mako Madness.
