ARRESTED: Man charged with sexually assaulting woman after crash

Police have made an arrest in the case of a woman who was sexually assaulted for two hours after she was involved in a crash with the suspect. Stafford County detectives have charged Roberto Carlos Flores Sibrian with rape and aggravated sexual battery in connection to the October 31 assault.

The accident happened in the early morning hours of Halloween. Investigators say between 2:45 am and 3:15 am, the victim's vehicle was struck by another car at Kings Highway and Sherwood Forest Farm Road in Fredericksburg. After the crash, they say the suspect pulled the woman from her vehicle forcefully and dragged her off of the road to a ditch, where the sexual assault took place.

After the attack, the suspect left the area in his vehicle and traveled eastbound on Kings Highway (Route 3), authorities said. The victim walked back to her vehicle where she called 911 from her cell phone. A Stafford County deputy also arrived at the scene as she made the call.

Earlier this month, investigators released a photo of the orange, blue and white plaid long-sleeved shirt that was left behind by the suspect at the scene. A composite sketch was also released in the case.
