Teen cancer survivor spreads awareness about ovarian cancer

DOYLESTOWN, P.A. (WTXF) September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. One Bucks County town is honoring survivors in a very special way. Among them is a 14 year old girl, Paige.

Paige Larosa was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at 11 years old, after complaining of stomach pains and eventually feeling a lump in her lower abdomen. She had both ovaries removed and underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Now three years later, she is in remission.

Paige is helping spread awareness by participating in the "Turn the Towns Teal" initiative. They are decorating Doylestown with ribbons and sharing valuable information about the symptoms of this silent killer.

For more information on Paige's story, watch the video above.
