Trip of a lifetime for our nation's bravest

- One week from today, a bus will load up with local veterans on the trip of a lifetime, heading down for one day to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifice.

The trip is free for those veterans, all put together by the nonprofit organization the Honor Flight Network.

It's one of three trips a year.

Joining FOX 29's Bill Anderson on "Good Day Weekend" Sunday morning were one of the organizers and two local veterans who have been on the trip.

Ken Daws is with Honor Flight Philadelphia. Wayne Guzmanis a Korean War veteran. And Pete Flowers fought in the Vietnam War.
