Dr. Mike: Mold closes local schools, worries parents

- Several schools in our area are cleaning up the mold. Classes were canceled again Friday.

Crews will continue working throughout the weekend at John B. Kelly Elementary School in Germantown. The Philadelphia School District says it will not reopen until the entire building is mold-free.

But many parents still have questions about the possible risks from exposure.

Officials are also concerned about mold at Cheltenham High School, as well as the Monroe Township School District in New Jersey.

Holly Glen Elementary in Williamstown will be closed for months while crews work to get rid of the mold.

Thousands of students have been exposed to the mold. What are the possible health problems?

Penn Medicine's Dr. Mike Cirigliano joined us on "Good Day Philadelphia" Friday morning to discuss.
