1 of 2 arrested for threats involving The Band Perry

Delaware State Police say they've identified and arrested one of two people who made threatening statements at the Americana Bayside Welcome Center, which forced the cancelation of The Band Perry concert.

They reported two men entered at about 3pm Monday "and made alarming statements to an employee at the desk."

Security was heightened and the concert was postponed. The Band Perry tweeted the show has been rescheduled for Aug. 17.

Then, police sent out information and people sent in tips.

Dzmitry N. Papou of Selbyville contacted troopers and turned himself in, police say, "after learning of the photos through the local media."

Papou, 35, is charged with a felony count of terroristic threatening and was released on $20,000 unsecured bond. Also, he has a no-contact order with Americana Bayside.

Police say the second suspect has been identified but not arrested. Until then, specific details will not be released.

Witnesses can call in information on the other man to Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 (847-3333).
