TULLYTOWN, PA (WTXF) - A hazmat situation in Bucks County is now under control.
Tullytown police said it started with some sort of chemical spill at the Lower Bucks Municipal Water Plant. We don't know the type of chemical, but authorities called hazmat units to the scene at 60 Main Street.
The situation has been contained. The spill has not affected the water supply. Also, the air quality has been deemed safe.
Earlier, Tullytown police had asked area homes and business to take precautions by keeping windows and doors closed, but that is no longer necessary.
