BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA (WTXF) - Bristol Township and police from neighboring departments were on the lookout for an armed man shooting at another car on Veteran’s Highway.
They said they got a call from a driver who said he was heading north from I-95 when a man driving a white car tried to drive up to the right side of him on the shoulder. That was Friday, just before 11am.
Then, the road narrowed and that driver ended up behind the caller.
Approaching New Falls Road, police said the caller reported a “pinging” sound, looked in his rearview mirror, and saw the other driver holding a black handgun.
The caller didn’t hear any shots fired, but saw “debris” coming out of the gun.
When they got to New Falls Road, that other driver pulled up to the caller and cursed.
The caller described the car as a white sedan and said the driver had short, light brown hair.
He didn’t know if the black handgun was real or a BB gun.
He also didn’t know the make or model of the car, anything about the license plate, or the direction it went.
Police say the caller’s car had “two small circular indentations in the rear” but no shell casings were found.
Also, surrounding police departments were not able to find the vehicle or man described.
