Murray was in Orlando on a family vacation. Her mother said she was fatally shot in the arm at Pulse nightclub early Sunday morning. She also said her daughter called before she died, pleading for help while trapped in a bathroom with the gunman.

The vigil is being held at 6pm Wednesday. It is open only to family, students, parents, teachers and West Catholic alumni.

Also, we’re told the family needs help with Akyra’s final expenses and several people have set up fake GoFundMe accounts.

To help, go to a Citizens Bank branch. They’re accepting donations for the real Akyra Murray Fund.
