2 teens arrested for man's February murder

Two young men are under arrest for a deadly shooting that happened back in February.

They are Breon Matthew Pringle and Yordanie Radamas Camacho, both 19 and from Chester, according to Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan, Chester Police Commissioner Otis Blair and Chief James E. Nolan IV.

Back on Feb. 3, in the middle of the afternoon, 22-year-old Donte Carlton Murray of Chester was taken from the 900 Block of Pennell Street to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Authorities say at the crime scene, a Chester police officer "recovered projectiles along with seven .45 caliber fired cartridge casings and five 9mm fired cartridge casings, which was turned over as ballistics evidence for examination."

Also, they learned a gray, two-door, vehicle -- possibly a Honda Accord -- was in the area at the time of the shooting and sped away immediately after.

Five days later, the car was found and police arrested Camacho "on firearms violations as a result of him being in possession of a 9mm Ruger Model P95 with an obliterated serial number having an extended magazine that was loaded with 29 rounds with one in the chamber. Also in the vehicle, police located a black 9mm Beretta M9A1 in the rear seat cushion."

They say that's where Pringle had been sitting and when officers found the gun, he ran away and they filed a warrant for his arrest.

Then, investigators say they confirmed "the five 9mm casings found at the homicide scene were fired from Camacho's 9mm Ruger."

Pringle and Camacho are charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, criminal homicide, possession of a weapon, not allowed to possess a firearm, and having firearms without a license.

Pringle was arrested Sunday. Camacho is being held on a detainer in prison on an unrelated firearms offense.

Both remain in custody at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility and are expected to be video arraigned.
