1 Dead, 1 Wounded in South Philadelphia Shooting

Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded in South Philadelphia Monday.

The shooting happened around 5:49 p.m. on the 1500 block of S. Coriles Street. Police say a 37-year-old man was shot once in the side and was pronounced dead at the hospital. A 28-year-old man was shot in the back, according to police. The 28-year-old man is currently listed in critical condition at Presbyterian Hospital.

So far, no arrests have been made. Police have not been able to recover a weapon.
