20 years in prison for hiding camera in bathroom, recording kids

A Montgomery County man who admitted he hid a video camera in his bathroom to videotape children is sentenced to 20 years in federal prison.

Kevin Rebbie of Royersford had pleaded guilty to 19 counts of manufacturing child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography, back in December.

Prosecutors said a 15-year old discovered the camera under the sink in February, 2015. Police searched his home and found 80 videos from the bathroom, 19 of which showed minor boys and girls as they undressed, showered, and used the toilet. They said Rebbie saved the videos to his computer.

Besides prison, Rebbie will have 20 years of supervised release and have to pay a $2,000 special assessment.

Rebbie is awaiting trial in Montgomery County and Bucks County on child molestation charges.
