NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A 30-year-old man is dead after police say his car was hit by another “at a high rate of speed” and caused him to lose control.
The tragedy happened at about 4am in North Philadelphia, on the 400 block of E. Erie Avenue.
The victim’s car hit a utility pole and ended up on a sidewalk, but he fractured his leg and ended up “partially through the front windshield.”
He died at the hospital.
The other driver was a 24-year-old woman. She stayed at the scene and was not hurt.
Investigators say DUI is not suspected.
