- It wasn’t comedian Wanda Sykes’ best show. Far from it.

Fox affiliate WFXT reported it “turned ugly when things got political.”

Sykes began her set with a monologue about the recent election of Donald Trump, accusing him of being racist, bigoted and sexist.

But the crowd reacted badly and events took an ugly turn, when Sykes began engaging with members of the audience. She ended her set by walking off stage to boos.

According to WFXT, the event was called Comics Come Home. It was headlined by comics like Bill Burr, Dennis Leary and Sykes to raise money for the Cam Neely Foundation which provides a place to stay for families of pediatric cancer patients at New England Medical Center.
