Off-duty NYC correction officer shot to death through car window

- A young off-duty New York City correction officer was shot to death late Sunday night while sitting in a car.

A motive for the shooting remains unclear but you can see the bullet holes in the driver's side window of that car.

Police said 25-year-old Alastasia Bryan was in that car and shot outside a home in the Flatlands neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Officers say they found her with gunshot wounds to her head and torso. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Correction Officers' Benevolent Association has issued a statement saying the correction family is "shocked and grieving the horrific murder" of Bryan.

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.
