NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WTXF) - A Montgomery County man is under arrest and he faces several child pornography charges.
Authorities say on Sept. 4, an East Norriton detective “conducting an undercover, electronic communications operation on the internet” found a computer “specifically configured to anonymously share files with others.”
That detective found 73 sexually explicit files. Of them, 24 “depict children under the age of 18 engaged in sexual acts and/or sexually explicit poses.”
They say they traced it to William Davis, 52 of Skippack, and took his computer with a search warrant. In there, they say they found “19 sexually explicit images and videos of child pornography.”
Davis was arrested Thursday.
He faces multiple felony charges of dissemination of child pornography, possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility, and was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
