6 hospitalized in West Philadelphia hit-and-run

- Police are investigating a hit-and-run that sent six people to the hospital, including three young children. 

The incident happened Friday afternoon near 57th and Walnut St. Police say a Cadillac ran a red light, hitting another car, and ejecting a six-year-old. 

The driver of the Cadillac fled, police say. The six-year-old was taken to the Children's hospital of Philadelphia with internal bleeding and fractures.

According to police, two 3-year-olds and two adults were also hurt in the accident. 

Police say the 3-year-olds are in stable condition, and the adults are in critical. 

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
