Caught on Cam: Student berates dining hall employee over macaroni and cheese

STORRS, CT (WTXF) - A student from the University of Connecticut was arrested Saturday night, after repeatedly berating an employee at an on-campus dining hall, according to a video posted online.

Luke Gatti, 19, of Bayville New York, reportedly entered an on campus dining hall with an open beer. When employees asked Gatti to leave, he became aggressive.

A viral video posted to YouTube captures the incident, during which Gatti curses, makes obscene gestures, and shoves the manager of Union Street Market.

In the video, Gatti appears to be upset because the manager would not sell him bacon-jalapeno macaroni and cheese.

The manager repeatedly tells Gatti that he cannot serve him because he is underage and was drinking in the dining hall.

Two dinging hall employees were eventually able to subdue the 19-year-old, who appears to attempt to hit the manager.

According to Daily Mail, police arrested Gatti, and charged him with breach of the peace and first degree criminal trespass. His bail was set at $1,500 and he is set to appear in court on October 13.

Gatti was reportedly arrested twice in 2014 when he was a student at the University of Massachusetts. In one case he was charged with disorderly conduct and in another, assault and battery on a police officer.
