The commercial for "Mocshino Barbie" features a boy for the first time in the company's history.
Moschino and Barbie recently announced their partnership on the highly anticipated collector Moschino Barbie doll, which comes with an eight-piece ready-to-wear Moschino collection.
In the commercial for the toy, a little boy - who is dressed to the tens - exclaims that the new Barbie "is so fierce!"
It's the latest in a series of steps to remove gender-based labels (pink aisles & blue aisles) from toy shopping. For example, Target stopped labeling toys as for boys and girls a few weeks ago.
