Missing Vineland Mom, Baby Found Dead; Suspect Charged

Vineland, NJ (WTXF)- Authorities have arrested and charged a man with the deaths of a Vineland, New Jersey mother and her three-month old daughter.

Police say Ricardo C. Santiago, 34, turned himself into police on Tuesday as the victims were found late that night. Santiago is facing two counts of homicide.

34-year-old Neidy Ramirez and her 3-month-old daughter Genesis Ramirez were last seen on Friday, November 27th in Vineland, New Jersey. 

According to police, Ramirez's vehicle a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer was found abandoned on Northbound Route 55 near milepost 45.3; by New Jersey State Police on Saturday afternoon.

Police believe Ramirez and her daughter may have died as early as Friday.

Ramirez and Santiago have a child together, but he was not the biological father of Genesis according to investigators.                         `         

Santiago, a resident of Millville, New Jersey, is being held an the Cumberland County Jail on $1 million cash bail.
