60-pound bear relaxes in tree on University of Colorado's campus

BOULDER, CO -- A 60-pound bear was seen resting comfortably in a tree on the University of Colorado's campus on Friday.

The bear was reportedly two-years-old and was in the tree for about four hours.

The bear was tranquilized by a dart gun and it fell about thirty feet to mats set up below the tree.

It then rolled onto the ground.

Then, the bear didn't seem to want to go to sleep, popping it head up for a brief moment before it nodded off.

According to a rep from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the bear will be relocated as far away from the Boulder campus as possible.
