Philadelphia Police are investigating a triple shooting in North Philadelphia that left one man dead and two others injured Saturday afternoon.
Gunfire erupted shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the area of East Allegheny Avenue and E Street.
Police arrived on scene to find three men suffering from gunshot wounds. A 46-year old Hispanic male was shot once in the chest, and was rushed to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 59-year-old Hispanic male was struck a total of three times including once in the arm and twice in the chest. He was taken to Temple Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
A 33-year-old black male was struck once in the back. He was taken to Temple hospital where he was placed in critical condition.
The suspect is still at large. Police have described him as an unknown black male wearing a white shirt and blue shorts. He is believed to have been armed with a rifle.
Police remain on scene pending further investigation.
