92-year-old Camden County man set to open cupcake shop

At 92, one South Jersey man is just getting started.

Ray Boutwell says he was looking for greater fulfillment in his life and instead of sitting at home, the widower decided to open a business selling liquor-infused baked goods!

"My daughter never thought I was serious and once I really signed a contract she wouldn't talk to me for two weeks," said Boutwell.

The bakery will be called "Ray's Boozy Cupcakes." The lifelong baker -- who does *not* drink -- says he got the idea from a magazine article and ran with it.

"I read an article in a magazine at the cardiologist," said Boutwell. "From the beginning I thought, "wow, nobody does this, no body does this," and it's a great idea."

The full time project is giving Ray newfound fulfillment, mentally and physically.

"I gotta do something to bring myself back to life again," said Boutwell.

The project has taken longer than expected, but Ray does not shy away from the work. Boutwell paints designs and even constructs where he can. In his spare time, he works on new boozy recipies.

"My daughter says don't give up, not now, I've got too much invested in it," said Boutwell. "I said I'll never give up, I'm not that type of person."
