London (FOX NEWS) It's a storybook tale with a happy ending.

A little girl from London was reunited with her raggedy rabbit doll thanks to a bus driver's social media savvy.

Tower Transit driver Robert Campbell spotted the forgotten doll on his double-decker bus.

Realizing that somewhere was a child missing her precious rabbit, Campbell had the clever idea to stage an impromptu photo shoot, posing the doll in funny positions and posting it to Facebook.

He wrote "PLEASE SHARE" in the caption.

His plea was answered--the post was shared more than 20,000 times, eventually finding its way to the newsfeed of Stratford mother Kate Gard.

Arrangements were made, and little Amelie once again held the doll "that has been her constant companion since birth."

It was a reunion that no one will soon forget.
