Air Force One replica navigating through city traffic

The political conventions, this week and next, will determine who runs for president. But a replica of the president's plane, Air Force One, is headed to the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Starting at 1pm, folks there will see the installation of a replica Air Force One fuselage that'll be on display during PoliticalFest.

The plane had to get to Hall F somehow, and SKYFOX was over the route. A police escort led it into the city on an open-bed, oversized flatbed truck, eastbound from Valley Forge on the Schuylkill Expressway.

Then, it was supposed to go onto the Vine Street Expressway, exit 15th Street south and finally head east on Arch Street. But we noticed it made a detour near Drexel University.

The "hard hat" event is hosted by the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention.
