Alarm system stops attempted robber at window

Police released a series of pictures taken when somebody tried to break into a home on the 5800 block of N. 21st Street.

It happened back on May 11, minutes before noon.

The alarm company notified the victim an unknown person tried to get inside their home by forcing open a window.

But when the alarm sounded, the attempted robber got away. Police don't know how he did it, nor then direction he went, but he did not get inside the property.

The residence security system provided a series of still photos.

The suspect is described as in his mid-30s to about 40 years old, with a dark complexion, medium build and beard.

He was wearing a knit hat, blue hooded jacket, dark colored pants, and black and white sneakers.
