PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Ask Alexa anything. She'll give you an answer. But ask Amazon's voice-activated personal assistant to play a game. You just may get an "R" rated response.
That's exactly what FOX 29’s Chris O’Connell’s twin 7-year-old daughters heard when playing Amazon's "audio battleship" game.
A wrong answer--Alexa calls you “a dumb***”
Within minutes the company responded. They told FOX 29 that they are investigating the games glitch they say came from a third party game developer.
On Thursday Amazon gave us this statement:
"The issue has been resolved and thanks to your feedback millions of users including yourself can continue to enjoy interactions for many years to come."
Amazon has not told us how exactly how the glitch got into the game or if any disciplinary action was taken against the developer. We did check tonight and the glitch has been fixed.
