Arrest made in hit and run that left girl, 3, pinned under car

An arrest has been made in a hit and run that left a three-year-old girl in Philadelphia's Mayfair neighborhood Tuesday night.

31-year-old Zachary Lauer is facing charges for the incident that occurred on the 3200 block of Tyson Avenue.

Investigators say Lauer drove onto the sidewalk and struck two children and their mother, then got out of his vehicle and ran from the scene on foot.

The three-year-old victim was left pinned under the car, which was then lifted off of her by a number of bystanders.

Lauer is facing a number of charges including aggravated assault and driving under the influence.
