Attempted Robbery Turns Into Double Shooting in West Philly, 2 Hurt

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Two men are recovering at Presbyterian Hospital after a double-shooting and attempted robbery in West Philadelphia.

It happened near a small grocery store on the 5400 block of Walnut Street around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Police say two suspects approached two men and told them they were being robbed. When the men started running the suspects shot them.

Investigators say nothing appears to have been taken.

No arrests have been made.
