MERCER COUNTY, NJ (WTXF) - Authorities in Mercer County concluded a two-month investigation this week with three arrests and the seizure of $4,200 in drugs, according to the county prosecutor.
During the course of the investigation, multiple undercover narcotics purchases were made from Aaron Carter AKA “GUNZ,” of Hamilton.
Officers executed a search warrant on Carter’s Gwenyth Way residence, recovering two bundles of heroin along with dozens of Xanax pills and nine bags of marijuana. At the time of Carter’s arrest, he was found in possession of 24 bricks of heroin and $513.
The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is $4,200. A Chevrolet Impala and a Nissan 350Z were also seized as drug proceeds.
Carter, 38, has been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with the intent to distribute.
Also arrested during the investigation were Leroy Martin and Leteef Marsh. 25-year-old Martin, of Hamilton, was in Carter’s vehicle at the time of the search warrant execution and found to have three bags of crack cocaine in his possession. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
24-year-old Marsh, of Hamilton, was arrested during the residence search. He was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Both men were released pending further court proceedings.
