Authorities seek suspect in Horsham credit union armed robbery

Horsham, Pa. (WTXF) Authorities say they are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect in an armed robbery at a credit union in Horsham.

According to authorities, on Saturday, March 5th shortly after 9 a.m., the suspect entered the American Heritage Federal Credit Union branch on the 300 block of Maple Avenue in Horsham.

Investigators say the suspect approached the counter brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun in his left hand; he gave tellers a black bag and verbally demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the area in a gray sedan - possibly a Hyundai or Honda model, according to authorities.

The suspect wore a black full-face motorcycle helmet, concealing his age, race, and features; black jacket and "skinny" jeans; black gloves; and black and white Chuck Taylor-style sneakers. He is described as having a thin build.

This suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
