Autopsy reveals 13-year-old died from heroin and fentanyl mixture

The Cape May County Prosecutor's Office announced that an autopsy report revealed that a New Jersey teen died as a result of a deadly mixture of heroin mixed with fentanyl. According to authorities, the 13-year-old died on June 4.

Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor says that Cape May County has seen an increase in the number of heroin bags submitted to the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office Forensic Laboratory, which have tested positive for the presence of fentanyl. Prosecutor Taylor also stated that no one is immune from this epidemic whether young or old, race or economic status.

Prosecutor Taylor urges families to educate their children and loved ones as to the dangerous of illegal drugs and to continue to report any information regarding illegal drug activity and or any criminal activity within the community.
