Child with rare genetic disorder gets free flight to CHOP

- A mom and dad from Maine just touched down in Philadelphia hoping to get their child lifesaving treatment.

They got here on a free flight Thursday all thanks to the organization ‘Patient Airlift Service.’

14-month-old Will suffers from a rare genetic disorder called AGS. Now his parents are taking him to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

"Will's condition causes him to be pretty miserable. We leaned towards the train. Then to have this opportunity pop up. A plane ride that takes a fraction of the time. He got out of the plane. It's huge," his father, Justin Hager, said.

Will is going to meet with a clinic team at CHOP.  Doctors will try to treat his symptoms.
