Breaking in, stealing only got these suspects a few cents

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (WTXF/STORYFUL) - Two suspected burglars tried a heist but walked away probably thinking they wasted their time.

Oklahoma City police released video from Saturday showing one suspect smash the window of the Bricktown Water Taxi office before reaching in and trying to remove the cash drawer.

The attraction -- which provides entertaining tours of the Bricktown Canal focusing on Oklahoma history and downtown OKC's rebirth -- must've just made a deposit or be doing very badly because he got only "a few pennies," according to police.

A second man is seen in the video speaking with the suspect as he removes the cash drawer.

The Oklahoma City Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the suspects.
