Police say a photo surfaced of a student holding two rifles, and a female student reported receiving death threats from a male student.

The male student who was reported to school officials was at the school, according to police, and was located at his home after the lockdown went into place around 2 p.m.

The male student is in police custody and the lockdown was lifted just before 3 p.m.

George Washington High School released the following statement:
"We take the safety of our students and staff very seriously. Earlier today George Washington High School was placed on a precautionary lockdown due to 911 calls placed.
