Caught on Cam: Ice Arena Fight

WEST GOSHEN, Pa. (WTXF) A bitter high school hockey rivalry got ugly off the ice. Moments after the Flyers Cup championship game at Ice line Rink in West Goshen a brawl between fans broke out in the lobby.

The fight between students from Rustin High School and Springfield High School in Delaware County was caught on video.

Rustin senior Tessa Cujini says more than a dozen students were involved. It started with name calling then escalated to punching and kicking.

"I was definitely scared because I was right there. But it all happened so quickly so I was in shock more than anything," Tessa told FOX 29.

West Goshen police made one arrest Friday. However, they are looking for more, including one student seen on video kicking a rink employee in the face and immediately running away. Rink surveillance cameras captured the entire melee.

Rink manager Jimmy Binns says ten police officers were on duty that night and responded within seconds. and although no players were involved in the incident, he is hoping the fight doesn't detract from the long standing rivalry of two great hockey teams.

Although the hockey teams are considered club sports, school administrators are helping identify students in the video.

We are told the one employee who was injured is doing OK after suffering a concussion. As for the other suspects, police expect to make arrests this week. They say several more video clips have surfaced showing more of that brawl.
