Caught on Cam: Officer saves unconscious driver

Ohio Township, Pa.--Pennsylvania's finest came to the rescue of an unconscious driver and it's all caught on camera.

It all started after police received a call about an erratic driver in Ohio Township. The responding officers wound up spotting the car involved on the side of a road. They found the driver inside and unresponsive. That's when one of the cops jumped into action and saved his life by performing CPR.

" He reaches in for a pulse, feels no pulse unstraps the individual, he had a seat belt on and pulls him on the ground. You can see he's lifeless," said Ohio Township Police Chief Norbert Nicklos. "He did contact the officer earlier today and he did want to thank the officer for what he did."

The hero officer initially thought the man was having heart-related issues. But it turns out, the driver confessed to snorting heroin before the incident. According to reports, he won't be facing any charges.
