Celebrating the end of Ramadan at Please Touch Museum

Families spent Saturday at the Please Touch Museum. They were there to celebrate the end of Ramadan and the new moon.

The museum hosted an all-day Eid al-Fitr festival which promotes thankfulness and joy.

There was a full day of activities, including kids working on art that focused on the steps of prayer in Islam, listening to an author read her new book and watching an Arabic dance group perform.

There was a cooking demonstration, an opportunity to draw with henna and a science program focusing on the phases of the moon.

The Please Touch Museum celebrates many different cultures throughout the year.
