Chick-fil-A Owner Spreads Christmas Spirit

The owner of a Birmingham, Alabama Chick-fil-A has been spreading the holiday cheer this Christmas.

David Jackson, who operates the Hoover Commons Chick-fil-A, has decorated his restaurant with thousands of twinkly lights, according to al.com. He said he wanted the multi-colored lights to be as much like a good old-fashioned Griswold family Christmas as possible.

"We'll add more next year. We're just going to continue to build on it. I would like to turn it into a Clark Griswold type atmosphere where you can see it for miles," Jackson told al.com.

The light show is synched with Christmas music from a local radio station. It's not just holiday lights though... families have been able to visit with Santa as well as Santa Cow on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the season.

"It's bringing so much joy to so many people. That's what Christmas is about, trying to bring joy to other people," Jackson said.
