Deer carcass found hanging inside Bucks County football field

On Thursday morning a deer carcass was found hanging inside a Bucks County high school football field.

Upon notification, Central Bucks School District staff immediately removed the carcass from the War Memorial Field.

The superintendent wrote, "CBSD does not condone acts of vandalism such as this and the district immediately informed the local police. If identified, those responsible will face disciplinary consequences."

This Saturday a football game is scheduled between Central Bucks West and Central Bucks East. The School District says that extra security measures will be in place tonight and tomorrow night at War Memorial Field and at both high schools.

"The Central Bucks School District will continue to reinforce with our students the actions needed to ensure a positive and safe school community."
