Delaware State Police are asking for assistance in a suspected attempted robbery

CLAYMONT, Del. (WTXF) - Delaware State Police are on the search for three men they say tried to rob a cab driver.

The incident took place on New Year's Day in Claymont.

According to authorities, when the driver asked how the passengers were going to pay, one of the men took out a knife and demanded money.

The cab driver slammed on his breaks and the men ran out of the cab, without taking anything.

Police have identified one of the suspects as 32-year-old Ismael Ramos. They are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the other two men and locating all three men they say are involved.
