Delaware troopers investigating crash with school bus

NEW CASTLE, De. (WTXF) - Delaware State Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash involving a school bus.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, October 12.

The crash happened at the intersection of New Castle Ave. (DE 9) and Memorial Dr. The southbound lanes of New Castle Ave. are closed at this time.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley reports that 16 kids were on the bus when it crashed with a car. Only 8 were hurt and are at the hospital being treated for minor injuries.
