PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - For Pennsylvania native Rylie Eisenhardt, the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl victory on February 4 not only meant some local pride and family celebrations, it also meant the culmination of a 2005 promise from her father.
In footage shared to Twitter in the immediate aftermath of the game, Eisenhardt’s dad is seen beside the family’s screen confirming the news – via a well-prepared PowerPoint presentation and while sporting an Eagles jersey – that the family will be going to a Disney theme park in June now that the Eagles are Super Bowl champs.
Eisenhardt explained in her tweet that her father was “so confident” the Eagles would never win a Super Bowl after their failed 2005 attempt against the New England Patriots “he promised my cousins we would go to Disney if it ever happened.” She added that, “today he kept his promise.”
