Eagles fans in New York for the game

FOX 29's Bruce Gordon made his way to Metlife Thursday night along with some of the most hardcore Eagles Fans.

Fans like Caroline Thompson arrived six hours before kickoff waiting to get into the tailgate lot.

Another man from Coatesville, Pa. was representing his team in green prepared to cook a big meal before the game.

"You know we need to man up. You know, we are going to fix the problems, and we'll be back where we need to be when it's time to be there," he said.

Even the rain couldn't keep the tailgates from happening. When the tents were blown down, much like the Eagles persistence, they were built back up stronger.

Even some New York locals were supporting the birds. A fan from Brooklyn shares his love for the Super Bowl Champions.

"I got some south Jersey connections. My uncle lives down there and he brought me to some games when I was younger," he said. "When I was eleven, twelve first game about 2002, I could stop from there on."
