Eagles sign Delaware native Paul Worrilow

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a one-year deal with linebacker Paul Worrilow, FOX 29 has learned.

Worrilow, a Wilmington, Delaware native, spent last season as a member of the Detroit Lions and started 8 games. Prior to his time with the Lions, the 27-year-old Delaware Blue Hen spent three seasons as a member of the Atlanta Falcons.

The addition of Worrilow adds even more depth to an already impressive linebacking corps, headline by the newly resigned Nigel Bradham, Jordan Hicks, Mychal Kendricks. The Eagles also added linebacker Corey Nelson during free agency.

The move is likely to spark further speculation that Kendricks may not be with the team come opening day.
