Family Faces incredible fight against cancer

Nineteen years of marriage and two children, the Glesener family have been tested in ways that most couples can't imagine.

"Our lifestyle definitely changed," said Nicole Glesener. "And it opened up our eyes, " said Clint Glesener.

40-year-old Clint Glesener and his wife Nicole have both been diagnosed with cancer. Clint has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a form of cancer that affects his blood cells. The disease is normally found in children.

And about 7-years ago his wife was diagnosed with stage four Multiple Myeloma which is a rare form of blood cancer that is not curable, but is treatable.

Clint and Nicole were high school sweethearts, and got married shortly after high school. Through the whole struggle, both of them have lost their jobs and have medical bills well over $100,000 despite their various forms of health insurances. Local fundraisers have been held to help the family in their time of need.

"I believe there are better days ahead, every day is a gift," Nicole Glesener said.
