Fans are excited for the Eagles game at home at the Linc

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - Pretty much all of Philadelphia is hoping for one thing this Christmas and, of course, that's an Eagles win.

If the Birds come out on top over the Oakland Raiders, they will clinch home field advantage throughout the entire playoffs. Wouldn't that be awesome?

It's cold down at the Linc, but folks tailgating in preparation for the big game aren't too concerned with the chill.

The 12-2 Eagles are going against the 6-8 Oakland Raiders and after being away for three weeks, the Birds are finally back home.

The Raiders are out of playoff contention. The Birds are ten point favorites going into the game.

Fans out tailgating were excited and happy and were out waiting to tailgate prior to the 1 p.m. gate opening.
