Showers to linger overnight into a pleasant Tuesday

Flash Flood Watches are set to expire Monday evening as the system that brought an inch or more rain to parts of our area moves out to sea.

Flash Flood Warnings have since expired for parts of New Jersey and Delaware after heavy rain left of the most of the area with several inches of rain, including parts of Cumberland County that saw more than 3 inches of rain.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia only saw about a half of inch of rain, as things remained unseasonable cool across the area.

Showers are expected to linger through Monday evening, as things slowly clear heading into Tuesday.

Overnight you could see some of those linger showers, as things clear up for a pleasant Tuesday in the 80s, followed by an even nicer day on Wednesday.
